Marinka lives in New York City’s West Village with her husband, children (14 year old daughter and 11 year old son, although the ages seem to change every year) and cat, Nicki, who sometimes wakes up Marinka and her husband in the middle of the night. It makes Marinka very cranky. It makes Husbandrinka homicidal.
Marinka blogs about her life in New York City, her kids and family, current events, and the art and science of blogging.
When not busy referring to herself in the third person, Marinka dispenses fantastic, life-saving advice at The Mouthy Housewives.
Mama and Papa are Marinka’s parents. Papa reads Marinka’s blog and despite having been banned many times, comments as “Awesome Dude”. Mama never reads Marinka’s blog.
Recently, Mashable named Marinka one of the 17 Funny Moms on Twitter. That’s practically like getting a Nobel.
Marinka is currently working on her memoir, From Russia with Baggage. Well, maybe not right this second.
